How to Spot a Cheater !!

1. He’s superprotective of his gadgets.
“The main way that trysts are found out is through the discovery of incriminating e-mails, IM chats, cell phone texts or bills,” says Belisa Vranich, PsyD, a clinical psychologist in New York City. So if he’s being unfaithful, he may guard his gadgets or act really defensive when you innocently touch his phone or computer. It should be a giant red flag if he readily gave you passwords in the past, and now he’s more evasive.

2. He steps up the grooming
“This is so obvious, but it’s a sign many women miss: If your man starts grooming down there without you requesting it, that could be an indication that he’s spending more time naked,” says Vranich. You can actually thank porn for this tipoff. Guys today are used to viewing manscaped dudes onscreen, so if he has another chick to impress with his sexual prowess, he may emulate those ultra-trimmed guys. Another clue: He’s spending more time at the gym.

3. He smells different.
“When he comes home, if he doesn’t smell the same as he did in the morning, and it isn’t the scent of soap in the gym or at your home, it may be because he’s showered at her place,” offers Vranich. So pay attention, because in this case, that old saying “the nose knows” might very well be true.

4. Nothing fazes him anymore.
“If he was short-tempered before, a combination of added sex and attention could be making him way more relaxed, even downright giddy,” Vranich says. Adds Mira Kirshenbaum, author of When Good People Have Affairs: Inside the Hearts and Minds of People in Two Relationships: “If your guy is suddenly going around all happy and whistling, then you need to find out why.”

5. He has a twin who cheats
If so, be careful he doesn’t mirror his sibling’s behaviour. Dr Lynn Cherkas, a genetic analyst in the department of twin research at St Thomas’ Hospital, London, found that identical twins are 200 per cent more likely to be unfaithful if their twin has had an affair. ‘A lot of twins have similar personalities and shared values, which could be the reason for such findings,’ Cole says.

6. He's been married before (but you haven't)

A paper published in the European Journal of Operational Research in 2009 tracked 1,000 couples who were either married or in serious relationships over five years.

Researchers found a previous divorce lessened the chances of a relationship surviving, although this was less marked when both partners had been divorced before.

7. He's sex-obsessed

One third of 1,468 men questioned admitted to viewing online pornography. According to Julia Cole, men who use internet porn on a regular basis are more likely to be unfaithful, as the habit can produce a deadening effect on emotions that can hurt relationships. Cole says: ‘Excessive use of chat lines, sex-texting and porn can leave someone numb to the emotional responses they would feel in a normal relationship.’

8- He has a sudden change in behavior.
Cheating guys will suddenly change their behavior, and in numerous ways. He might make a sudden change in his appearance or grooming habits, or it could be a sudden change in his work schedule where all of a sudden he's working late, has to travel and can't be reached. But the most common sign is when your sex life decreases, and he shows less of an interest in you in the bedroom.

I've never been one to sugar-coat things, and I don't think that you should be either. There are some guys out there who can't be trusted and some who can. The key is being able to recognize a potential cheater before the relationship begins.
