Why Wasn’t Taylor on Being Maci?

We loved MTV's one-off special, Being Maci, but it was lacking a little somethin' somethin'. And that little somethin' somethin' was Maci Bookout's boyfriend of almost a year, Taylor McKinney. This motocross racer is a huge part of Maci's life, but for some reason he just didn't make it on camera –– which means we have yet to see his chintee up close and personal. What gives?

Well, turns out Taylor isn't as camera-friendly as the rest of Maci's amigos. Let's not forget that this hunk is a relatively new addition to Maci's life, and hasn't gotten used to a film crew following his main squeeze around. In short, he has no intention of being filmed –– at least not yet!

When a fan took it to Twitter and commented that Being Maci would have "been better if we meet her new boo," Taylor responded by posting a meme with the tagline "Nooooo, he wasn't ready!"

To each their own, but fans are already campaigning for Being Maci to be made into a reality show, and there's no way Taylor can't be a part of it! After all, he's a main player in Maci's life –– despite the fact that they live in separate states.
